Boron: Boron improves root uptake of Phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) by maintaining proper function and structure of root cell membrances. It has an important role in colonization of roots with mycoeehizal fungi which contributes to root uptake of P. Its requirement is much higher for reproductive growth than for vegetative growth in most plant species, Increases flower production and retention, pollen tube elongation and germination and seed and fruit development.
